Version: unspecified → 3.0
Version: 3.0 → unspecified
kiki, do you still see this bug after updating to new version TB12?

STR

1 Help > Help Contents (or press F1)

Expected result:

Open Japanese Thunderbird support site in Browser:
https://support.mozillamessaging.com/ja/home
(the site exists and is about thunderbird, although there seem to be too many wrong firefox captions...)

kiki, this does not work for you?
If not working, is it broken for F1 keyboard shortcut only or broken for both "Help contents" menu and keyboard shortcut F1?
Severity: major → normal
Summary: It is necessary to connect it with a Japanese (L10n) help site. → [ja] Thunderbird Help > Help contents (or F1) does not open Japanese localization of TB Support (https://support.mozillamessaging.com/ja/home)
http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/support/ was the link we used in 3.0 that then redirected the user to other places.

Now we effectively use https://support.mozillamessaging.com/ which will redirect to the right language page if it is supported.

The references on https://support.mozillamessaging.com/ja/home which are to Firefox, need to be fixed by Japanese support volunteers I believe, or by anyone signing in to the support pages and submitting fixes.

So I think we're safe just to close this straight away. kiki, if there is still an issue please feel free to file a new bug on the issues you're still seeing.
