Please give some more details. What "Ribbon" (Firefox does not use a ribbon). What does it show? Does it happen without the google toolbar installed? can you give a screenshot?

I still need more specifics. There are at least 5 bars at the top of the screen in a default install, plus you have google toolbar. so, a screenshot is extremely helpful. Also, please provide ALL the information I requested in comment 1, plus this, does it happen in firefox safe mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode

Can you provide a screenshot and follow the rest of the steps I asked? We need that information to diagnose.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
