See script "Drop and create some indexes on existing reports partitions" attached to bug 411354

This script would require approximately 3 hours to run on khan connected to dm_breakpad_stagedb: You will need to adjust your expectations for the production database.

Although these indexes are not required for the Socorro 1.3 rollout on 2009-01-07, they will increase efficiency for queries that look at the build column in reports table. 

All but the 'current' and one or two immediately prior partitions could be indexed without causing much if any difficulty on a running system, so if you wish to pay attention, you could do just a few while off line, and do the others soon thereafter.

Per IRC query from Fox2Mike: This needs to run on stage asap and go into production with the socorro 1.3 rollout.
