firefox doesn't work with the dock

after the upgrade the firefox icon in the dock is not used anymore, the application starts but the icon on the dock doesn't work. i've tryed removing the icon and adding it again (the same icon i use to start the application) but nothing happends.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. upgrade
2. start the application
Actual Results:
icon in the dock doesn't work
Expected Results:
the icon should bounce than you could use it to close the application or simply to select its window.
on mac i experience some problems every time i upgrade (last time on tiger when upgrading to 3.5) , maybe something with preferences files.

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

You can also try to reproduce in Firefox 4 Beta 8 or later, there are many improvements in the new version, http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
