User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_2; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.21.8 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.4 Safari/531.21.10 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091204 Thunderbird/3.0 I'm very happy with (almost) all the improvements in Thunderbird 3. However, one problem has crept up that I have not experienced before. Messages in folders are seemingly random marked as unread after an automatic or manual mail check. This unread status then seems to "stick": - an old mail suddenly becomes unread - go to folder, view the mail, marking it as read - manual or automatic check mail on server - the same email becomes unread again (even while being displayed). The same occurs when I use "mark folder as read". I have double checked the status of the mail on the server using mutt, where it clearly shows that the status of the email is read. Even after Thunderbird shows it as unread again, the mail on the server is still flagged as read. The only way that I have found to make the unread status stick again is by restarting Thunderbird. Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Steps to Reproduce: I have no way of reproducing the bug, but once it rears its head, the unread status can be reproduced reliably.
