" Firefox is already running , but is not responding to open a new window ,you must first close the existing firefox process ,or restart your system " message persists .. no other action can be done still mesage is existing after a fresh download and instalaltion of firefox 3.5.7 system info : windows XP 256 MB ram 80 GB harddisk intel pentium 4 Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1) open IE8 browser 2) use a facebook account in IE8 browser 3) use streaming website in IE8 browser say www.radiogrimmit.com ,www.cinecurry.com 4) Click Firefox icon in quick launch 5)stop the firefox process in task mngr 6) again click the firefox browser icon from quick launch issue : unable to work with firefox message window " Firefox is already running , but is not responding to open a new window ,you must first close the existing firefox process ,or restart your system " pops whenever firefox icon is clicked Actual Results: Firefox 3.5.7 is crashed Expected Results: firefox browser should open and can be used without hangup or crashing 3.5.5 was better than 3.5.6 and 3.5.7 ... make firefox to be used in low memeory systems

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 4 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
