User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.7) Gecko/20091221 Firefox/3.5.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.7) Gecko/20091221 Firefox/3.5.7 After opening the page and entering all the information the chat starts. Inputted text goes only in one line. That is: horizontal scroll bar appears and just keeps extending in the chat as oppose to "forcing" the text to go bellow. This requires moving horizontal scroll bar each time in order to read the text. The page properly displays in Internet Explorer, i.e. horizontal scroll bar does not appear at all. Reproducible: Always
Hi, Can you also reproduce this in safe-mode / with a new profile? And is the problem still present in the latest nightly build? http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-1.9.2/
Version: unspecified → 3.5 Branch
Hi, and thanks for responding! Yes, the problem is still present in both. I think the easiest way to see this is to go to: https://www.comcastsupport.com/sdcxuser/chatlaunch.asp?form=chsi Type out any info and submit to start chatting, you will see exactly what I am talking about. Again, if you do the same thing in IE it will be fine, the horizontal scroll bar does not appear there. In Firefox however, it makes it almost impossible to chat.
Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode or a fresh profile? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing. http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles
