Can you turn Password Manager debugging on and see if there is output such as "didn't fill form..."?

That could be something else... Does Firefox 3.5 require you to do this too? It seems more likely that Firefox has multiple logins for facebook. You can check your passwords list (search for facebook).

At http://www.facebook.com/ it doesn't seem to recognize the form. I deleted the saved password from the password-manager and saved it afterwards again. If logged out now and trying to re-login the form is empty. When I start with the first letter of my login it shows me also logins of other websites besides the one i'm using for facebook. If choosing the one for facebook the password is stilling missing. Everything was fine with 3.5.7.

As I asked before, can you follow the steps to get password manager debugging. I can't reproduce and so it's hard to figure out what's going wrong.
Pablo, that sounds like it could be a separate bug, but could you also enable password manager debugging and look for odd output.

Thanks for your commitment. I think the problem is related to one of the addons I was using. After deactivating all of them it no longer appeared. I will now reactivate some of them step by step. Before the Bug appeared quite often but somehow it was an "on / off-bug" sometimes appearing otther times not.
The Bug in comment #2 mentioned by Pablo though is still appearing which is new comparing it with ff 3.5.7. You have to chose the first letter of your login and then switch to the password form with the tab-key. THX Again
