Created a subfolder in the main mail folder (as I have done many times) Filed emails in it. Came in Monday morning and found the folder was not there nor any of the emails that I filed there. Tried recreating folder, closed application, it disappeared again.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.new - subfolder
2.named and saved - showed up in list
3.placed message in the folder
4. closed tBird & reopened - NO FOLDER or message
Expected Results:
no folder was saved and message and folder was deleted upon closing and reopening of application.

What kind of folders are the ones you are creating, local folders, imap folders ?
Do you have the issue if you start thunderbird in -safe-mode (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode) ?
Version: unspecified → 2.0
