When I try to load any web page, Firefox will show the tab as "Loading...", and the status bar will read "Waiting for" for several minutes, at the end of which the page is loaded quickly and correctly. This behavior only appears on certain internet connections, and is not shared by any other internet applications (IM, external non-Mozilla e-mail client, and other web browsers work just fine)

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect to certain networks (the ones I've seen it on are the MIT and UC Berkeley university wireless networks).
2. Attempt to load a page.
Actual Results:
Takes several minutes to start loading a page.

Expected Results:
Page should begin loading almost immediately.
Does this also happen in safe-mode / with a new profile?
