While browsing (any site I attempt), continually run into issues where Firefox just stalls, page never loads, browser never times out, cannot navigate away from current page by either clicking any links or typing in the web browser bar, buttons in HTML pages do not respond. I have to either close the browser or kill the process, then re-attempt to open the browser. Numerous errors show up in console as follows:
#Error Type 1:
#This is likely related to attempting to restore past sessions and failing:
[Exception ..."Component returned failure code: 0xc1f30001 (NS_ERROR_NOT_INITIALIZED) [nslPrefBranch.getIntPref]" nsresult:"0xc1f30001 (NS_ERROR_NOT_INITIALIZED)" location: JS frame :: file:///usr/lib/firefox-3.5.7/components/nsSessionStore.js :: sss_CheckPrivacyLevel :: Line 2580" data:no]
#Error Type 2
#about 8 all specifying different components, including add-ons
uncaught exception: [Exception ..."Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nslPrefBranch2.removeObserver]" nsresult:"0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: JS frame :: chrome://jsview/content/jsviewOverlay.js :: anonymous :: Line 78" data:no]
#Error Type 3:

#Error Type 4 -- probably a result of Error Type 3:

Reproducible: Always

run firefox like you did here in the debugger, except the next time it hangs, switch to gdb, do:
^C
thread apply all bt
g
^C
thread apply all bt
g
^C
thread apply all bt
g
the goal here is to get a very coarse sample of what's going on. attach that log.
Attaching the requested gdb actions. A couple of interesting things I've noticed: when the lock-up occurs (which is 100% of the time after a couple of pages), and I close the browser and open a new session, the "This is embarrassing" page regarding my previous session pops up. I have tried both resuming sessions and opening new sessions to no avail. Also, I've noticed my scrollbar inverts to the left hand side of the page during abnormal operation rather than staying on the right side. Finally, running in safe mode does appear to be working much better than with all of my add-ons enabled (although at one point, I was getting some different errors). This would suggest my add-ons are the cause but trying to troubleshoot with disabling all and re-enabling them one at a time and re-launching firefox each time has not led to which (if any) are causing the issue.
the stack traces for thread 0 don't point to any problems (my eyes glazed over considering the other threads). you might as well list your extensions here.
