Since yesterday i lost many of my emails and thunderbird didnt manage to connect to my email accounts to download any of my emails. I still send email but i am not even sure if they are really sent. I uninstall TB then reinstall it again. not work still.
It always says : choice of message to index .. all the time but nothing move and i still mist most of my old emails who vanished...

I dont know how to fix this problem since after reinstalling thunderbird it didnt change anything... i'm lost

Are you using pop or imap ?
Anything in Tools -> Error console ?

Imap for the adress of mail.
Nothing in error console
I solve my problem using an old restore point i did with mozbackup .. it was hard but i succed to get most of my data back.. just miss one month of email but it's not too bad.
Just i dont know why one of my 2 account had disapeard from the list. Sound strange
Hope won't happen again.. will do more regular back up.
I wish mozbackup do regular automatic back up... like we can do for windows backup on weekly base for example
