It would be really nice for those of us trying to package this, if the intersection of embedding and browser were put into their own section of the xpinstall packages files

I don't understand the problem. You want embedding you use the embedding files, you want mozilla, you use the xpinstall files. Regardless, it doesn't sound like build config. reassigning to dougt.

Jon, I think that the issue is we should try to reuses these package lists. If the package list was not so specific to seamonkey installation, but rather a general component manifest, embedding would be able to reuse most of the xpinstall packages. Either way, this embedding package list was a temporary measure until embedding can be built by itself via gmake. I am going to mark this as WONTFIX. I will continue mantaining this file. QA will continue to watch for dependancies.
