When sufficient text is deleted from an editor (textarea or design mode frame) such that a scrollbar is no longer necessary, the scrollbar itself does not get invalidated; indeed text that now wraps under the scrollbar does not paint. On my PC the test case shows the scrolled Lorem Ipsum text for a second, then replaces it with the string SomeTextThatIsNotSoLong; the final "o" is hidden under where the scrollbar used to be (the "ng" wraps to the next line).
