Currently, the description for the keyword '4xp' says:

"Product Parity bugs. A bug is a Product Parity bug if it occurs on Mozilla
builds, but does not occur using the latest release of Netscape Communicator 4.x
or competitor products."

There's some confusion about the meaning of the line "...or competitor
products". Let's have some examples:
 - If a bug exists in competitor products but not in Nav4.x, does it qualify as
   '4xp'?
 - What about a bug that exists in Nav4.x, but not in competitor products?
 - Or does a bug only qualify as '4xp' if it exists in Mozilla but *neither* in
   Nav4.x *nor* competitor products?

Could someone pls clarify the description? TIA.
mozilla.org thing....

Eric? I know you started a thread on this in .qa.general a little while ago. It
seemed like everyone agreed with you, but it doesn't look like the keyword
definition has been changed.
Accepting. I'll drive this issue. We already have consensus in n.p.m.qa.general
about clarifying 4xp to be specific to Nav4 rather than equating to the latest
release of any browser on the planet (!), and I've asked lchiang to go ahead and
make that change.

There are two other related issues for which we don't have a newsgroup thread
consensus yet, and I'll open newsgroup threads on those in n.p.m.qa.general:

1) new parity-tracking keywords: how to name them?
2) 4xp for [LAYER] Bugs Considered Harmful

Further discussion on this topic should take place in the newsgroup threads, not
this bug report, until we have consensus. Thanks all!

per krock's email to me, I have made the change to: Navigator 4.x Parity bugs.
A bug is a Navigator 4.x Parity bug if it occurs on Mozilla builds, but does
not occur using the latest release of Netscape Communicator 4.x.
Wouldn't this be 'FIXED' then?
It's still pending the outcome of any discussions over the next week over the
proposal to exclude [LAYER] bugs from 4xp tagging. I'll close it then.
