After viewing internet pages all of them and clossing firefox. 
Running firefox again comes with: firefox is all ready running close the firefox
or restart your computer.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. single pages, closed corectly 
2. several pages using tabs then it is not posible to close firefox correct

Actual Results:  
Viewing several pages using the tab function.  Firefox won't close correctly.

Expected Results:  
After restart firefox: firefox is all ready running close the firefox
or restart your computer.

Close firefox correctly and empting te intenet cache so firefox is not active 
any more.

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode or a fresh profile? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

Also, ensure you update all your plugins (Flash, Reader, java, quicktime, etc) to the latest version available on the vendor's website.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 4 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
