Click on Edit-Undo delete message and the msg previously deleted is not returned to the current folder or any other folder. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Delete a msg. 2. Click on Edit-Undo Delete Message 3. The message deletion is not undone -- do not see the msg in it's original folder or elsewhere. The message should have been undeleted.

FWIW, I don't see this. I suspect some additional steps or something environmental may be missing. can you try with a new profile, or in safe mode? not major, because there is a workaround (manual move)
Severity: major → normal
Version: unspecified → 3.0

I see this. It doesn't always happen. What I do is: (a) delete message. (b) undo message. I see the message reappear in the message list, I click on it, and a few seconds later it vanishes. It now appears to be gone completely; it's not in the trash folder or the current folder. I'm using IMAP, and my trash is set to move stuff to an explicit trash folder rather than just mark messages as deleted.
Ok, if my issue duplicate of this, I add some comments. Sometimes message reappear with it's tilte and empty body, sometimes with body of another message, and sometimes with concatenated bodies of some messages.

Anton are you also on imap, it's true?
(In reply to comment #6) > Anton are you also on imap, it's true? No, POP3. (with "leave messages on server + until i delete" and with filters on.)

This happens all the time for me. My experience (Mac, Eudora OSE 1.0, POP): When I delete a message from the In Box and then Undo, it does return, but it moves to the bottom of the In Box and it appears with status Read, even if it had not been read before. (I assume that it changed to Read status when it was moved into Trash, but it's important to restore its status upon Undo.)

Anton, do you still see this with version 3.1.9 or 3.1.10 (due out in a week or so). If you do, please comment here - and we will likely reopen your bug. (because Miles is gone) David, sorry bud OSE is stuck at thunderbird 3.0.4, so unless you change to Thunderbird you won't get fixes the other people are getting

For some reason I have not been receiving notices of msgs on this bug until today a separate msg outside of this bug list from Wayne Mery. Yes, apparently it has been corrected. Control/drag does copy msgs to wherever needed -- such as to a separate AB or a separate list in that same AB or another. Thanks very much for the fix, and I'm currently using TB 3.1.10.
