min and max widths aren't affecting auto margins correctly - the resulting width is the one that should affect auto margins, but that isn't what is happening. steps to reproduce: * load http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~dbaron/css/test/sec1004b Some of the paragraphs that the text says should be centered are not centered as they should be. buggy on macos 9.0.4 mozilla 2000-09-22-20
This is a regression sometime since 2000-04-08, according to my previous list of CSS test results. Maybe due to Troy's new absolute positioning code?
Reassigning to Buster.

Chris, can you evaluate the dogfoodness of this and also reassign to an appropriate engineer? How much does this bug contribute to the complaints about pages not looking right in N6?

I don't believe there are a lot of pages using min-width and max-width. It is unfortunate that this is a regression (a very old one), but this is not a dogfood bug as far as I can tell. Reassigning to attinasi.

Accepting, leaving as future for now...
