After updating to latest version 3.5.7 Firefox becomes almost unusable - opening any page after few clicks forms stops working, anchros stops working, mouse wheel does not scroll the page, tabs can't be closed, Firefox forgets the home page setting - "Firefox Start" page is displayed instead of custom home page. Tools / options displays blank wizard window, no setting tabs are available, only OK and cancel buttons at bottom.

This is the worse version ever, it forced me to use IE, which I just hate to use...

I found a cause and fix for this problem.
The very same problem occured on my second computer at work, running on Windows XP. I am a bit surprised that nobody has discovered this problem before me and nobody knew about solution.
The problem was caused by plugins, which became incompatible after latest Firefox update to version 3.5.7. The strange thing is, that these plugins was not checked and marked as incompatible during Firefox installation.
I have fixed the problem by uninstalling Firefox, removing plugins and then I performed new clean install of Firefox again. Then I have installed compatible plugins and now Firefox 3.5.7 works smooth again.
Previous fix is a bit too complicated, you can do it by simply opening plugins from Ffox and uninstalling them without uninstalling FFox.
