Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.75 (Macintosh; U; PPC) BuildID: 2000092120-M18 When the modern theme is active on Mozilla, the Mac gets confused and displays a solid silver page build status bar (like the classic theme one) when it should show the "modern" pulsing page build status bar. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Fire up Mozilla 2. Watch page build status bar. It will pulse at first. 3. Actual Results: While surfing, it sometimes changes to a silver color classic theme type status bar. The pulses then will (sometimes) return, or freeze, and fail to pulse for the rest of the session. Expected Results: The page build status bar in the Modern theme should pulse the entire session until classic theme is selected, when it is replaced by a classic bar.
Not seeing any of this in 2000092920, OS9. Am I just missing something here?
Probably related to the numerous theme changes that were landing around this time. I can't reproduce this in any 10/2000 build.
Actually, I've been seeing this in every build I've tested since filing this bug originally. The current build I'm using under Mac OS 9.0.4, 2000100720-M18, will do this on and off during a sesssion, so I'm not dreaming this up. I'll try to get a screenshot at some point in the next week or so which should hopefully clarify this bug.
Reporter, we have two distinct displays in the status bar. There is a spinner that spins like a barberpole during network activity and a meter thta moves from left to right during page layout. Is this what you're talking about? The spinner is striped and fils the entire bar and the progress meter is solid and fills the bar from left to right, sometimes moving/flashing back and forward

Kurt Weinschenker, If I am correct in my above comments then this is not a bug. Please reopen this if I have misunderstood your report. Thanks.
