Improvement requests to Eudora version 8.0b8, in descending order of importance:
1) Search feature: must have ability to choose which folders will be searched. At present very severely limited to a given folder (+ optionally it's subfolders).
2) Search feature:  in terms of where to search, must have ability to search "Anywhere", which will search the body, from, to, attachment name, etc, etc.
3) Each msg should receive a Junk score (e.g. from 0 to 100), not just yes or no.  Then in settings, one should be able to choose what junk value will result in a mail going to the Junk Mailbox (with 50 as default).
4) Columns shown for a given mailbox can be individually chosen.  However, I can not choose the columns I want over and over again for 100 mailboxes!!  Choosing for one mailbox, then having a "Set Default" might be enough (there is currently a "Restore Default", but not "Set Default").  Note that this feature should apply to *where* the column is and its width, as well as which columns are displayed.
5) When one views a received message (in a tab), the left pane showing all the mailboxes should NOT disappear.  One wants maximum versatility and ease to navigate to and from different panes.
6) For Composing new messages and Finding messages, need the option of these opening in tabs and NOT new windows.
7) The text inside a message tab should be the contents of "Who", not "Subject".
8) Option to move all tabs to bottom of screen instead of top.
