User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.7) Gecko/20091221 Firefox/3.5.7 GTB6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.7) Gecko/20091221 Firefox/3.5.7 GTB6

according to the instructions: "After removing old versions of the Gmail Notes and installing Jetpack, install the Gmail Notes script from the Jetpack gallery at http://jetpackgallery.mozillalabs.com/jetpacks/270. When you click the "Install this Jetpack" button, you will be presented with a scary-looking page labeled "Jetpack Feature from Untrusted Source". At the bottom of that window, we recommend you first check the "Auto-update this feature" option, and then click the button labeled "I know what I'm doing. Install it!"."

Gmail Notes does NOT install. The Jetpack SDK for Firefox reinstalls AGAIN (Jetpack 0.7). Gmail Notes is not present in addons. Jetpack 0.7 is present in addons.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.http://gmailnotes.appspot.com/gettingstarted
2.follow the friggin instructions to the "T"
3.complain, curse, wait one day, retry, file bug report
Actual Results:
the arrow slider does not show up. nothing in pulldown menus. cannot proceed any further.

Expected Results:
installed friggin Gmail Notes, make a friggin slider arrow appear so i can friggin set my preferences and open my account in order to friggin make notes on Gmail conversations

i am not impressed. why was gmail notes advertised as being available on january 11, 2010, when it is not!
We will be monitoring all these issues after the rebooted Jetpack code base is released in the first week of March to ensure their causes are not duplicated. Many of the bugs/issues with the prototype version of Jetpack will be made irrelevant given the structure of the new SDK.
