Make sure the latest Quicktime is installed (Version: 7.6.5.0) and click on any of the MP3 files in http://ranting-gryphon.com/Rants/ and let Quicktime play them in your browser window. All that appears is a black bar while your MP3 plays. dom.ipc.plugins.enabled = true or false has no bearing here. I also tested this in a new profile as well, same black bar. It's also NOT just the MP3s at the above link as I also see this behavior @ http://www.naive.ru/mp3/metallica/live/2006_03_18_centurion/. There is nothing in the Error Console either.

Minefield is long gone as are the URLs I originally linked to. Marking incomplete and resolving.
