I regularly see crashes of Mac Mozilla and Netscape builds because of heap
corruption. For examples, see bug 20743 (last comment), and bug 52565.

It may be that this only occurs under low memory conditions, but we need to make
sure this doesn't happen.
jrgm noted in bug 20743:

However, after the crash, I devised a random page disher and set it as my
home page (http://jrgm.mcom.com/cgi-bin/random-page.pl) where the pages are
the ones above plus slashdot, home.netscape.com, an lxr page, and tinderbox.
With that, I usually hit a crash at about page 9 or 10, with this kind of
info from 'how', 'hc all', 'ht', and 'sc'.

simon, how difficult will this fix be? what is the risk factor? how much effort
will this take?

No more reports of this, so I'm closing it as a dup of 52565, which it likely
was.
