Build Id: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux armv7l; Nokia N900; en-US; rv:1.9.2pre) Gecko/20100122 Namoroka/3.6pre Fennec/1.0pre Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to www.techcrunch.com 2. After page has finished loading, pan down to "The Crunchboard" 3. Pan back up to the top of the page 4. Perform steps 2-3 again. Actual Results: Checkerboarding always happen when panning back to the top of the page. Ben thinks its because the animations are creating dirty tiles. Expected Results: The browser shouldn't checkerboard everytime the user pans to the top of the page if a page is already loaded.

It is almost certainly an animation. It is the cost we pay for using large tiles.

Component: Linux/Maemo → General
On latest builds if panning fast enough (no matter the complexity of the page) content is not retrieved instantly (one has to wait 3-5 seconds to see it). There is no checkerboard displayed only a pink background.
