It's really great that we have Louis-Philippe upstreaming things. He makes sure it's fairly generic and future-proof for a reduced future maintenance burden. But this shouldn't be a bottleneck. While some things deserve discussion, each SUMO developer (as per any Tiki community member) should know they should go right ahead and fix things they feel are obvious. A typo, a bug, bad UI, missing translation, annoyance, whatever.

This is especially important for the period from now to 5.1 as all these fixes will end up in SUMO at the 5.x upgrade. It's faster to commit the fix to Tiki trunk than to log the bug, put a patch, wait for feedback, etc

It is also very nice and encouraging for Tiki community members to see new contributors. James Socol already made his first commit. Who will be next? :-)
