User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 Firefox seems to be extremely slow with sites with many animation pictures. Clicking on right scrollbar takes seconds to respond. Other browsers do not have same problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://51job.com/ (Note - This site is of Chinese content). 2. Wait untile the page fully loads. 3. Click the right scrollbar. Actual Results: You can feel that Firefox is not responding instantly. On my home computer which has a low configuration, it takes seconds for FF to respond (scrolling). Expected Results: It should be smooth. I tested the same site using IE 8 and Opera 10.10 and don't get the same problem. Instead, the two browsers are very smooth with this site.
I am not seeing any delays with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20100123 Minefield/3.7a1pre (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) ID:20100123051022, either with the scrollbar or the mousewheel. Please create a new profile and test there http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles
I can reproduce the problem by opening several websites in tabs and then opening 51.com.
That's what i did to test. Did you create a new profile?
Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing. http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles You can also try to reproduce in Firefox 4 Beta 8 or later, there are many improvements in the new version, http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

Firefox is getting better and better. I don't see any performance problem with the latest version.
