User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.7) Gecko/20100111 Thunderbird/3.0.1 Account Settings dialog box: when a setting is updated in any one mail account, if that setting is blank in one or more other accounts, then the same setting will be set for all those accounts. Example: if the user sets a reply-to address for account A, and the reply-to address is left blank in accounts B and C, then upon clicking OK the same reply-to address will be set for all accounts A, B and C. (Another good example is when setting an IMAP server path, .) Fully reproducible. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Choose a setting which is most often left blank for an email account, e.g. reply-to address or IMAP server path. 2. Enter a value for this setting in one email account and click OK in the account settings dialog. 3. Go back into account settings. Actual Results: See the same setting, not only in the intended account, but in all other accounts where that field had been left blank. Expected Results: See the setting only in the intended account. Other accounts where that field had been left blank, should still be showing a blank field.

Dup of bug 303542? See also Bug 534447. > Actual Results: > but in all other accounts where that field had been left blank. Bug 536768 is report for Junk folder setting. But same problem occurs on Copies&Folders setting, if existent setting points non-existent or hidden account/server. Check your all settings in prefs.js which is relevant to account and server, and check folder related settings of indentities.

in addition, please describe exactly everything you select/click prior to step "1." of comment 0, i.e. what account is selected and what you click to get to account settings.
