after opening firefox successfully, i can never open another window. the only way is to go to task manager and manually end the process, which doesn't close even when all the firefox windows are closed. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a firefox window
2.Attempt to open another oen
Actual Results:  
nothing opens

Expected Results:  
the new firefox window should be able to open easily without any problems

Does this happen with 3.6.3 or later in safe mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+mode

Fresh stsrt up XP window so I click first open firefox window screen is fine but when I closed it and wanna open firefox window again and it will not open firefox window and I have to reboot my xp window. It start happen bug last week ago after new update firefox.

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 4.0.1 or later in safe mode or a fresh profile? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 4 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). Also, ensure you have the most up to date graphics drivers, operating system updates, and plugin versions (flash, java, etc). If you continue to see this issue with the newest Firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
