User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.17) Gecko/2009122116 Firefox/3.0.17 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.17) Gecko/2009122116 Firefox/3.0.17 My html page has frames and one of the internal frame have an anchor tag having href="javascript:somefunc()" along with onclick="someAnotherFunc()". someFunc() internally submits the form and the form target is a newly opened window. When user clicks on such link the browser's progress bar is shown which remains blank and the status "Done". The popup window loads properly but the opener window's progress bar remains blank. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Navigate to the URL provided above. 2. In the textarea provided copy paste the code from attached text file and click on "Edit and Click Me >>" 3. In the right pane click on the link "Click Me" Actual Results: Popup window appears and the existing window shows a blank progress bar at the right bottom corner of the browser. Expected Results: The existing window should not show up a blank progress bar. This recreates even when running firefox in safe mode. Same is the case with Firefox 3.5.x version
