When I search for the definition of the word FRACAS and the definition is displayed, Firefox crashes immediately. Other words do not cause this to happen.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.merriam-webster.com/
2. Type the word FRACAS in the "Enter a word or phrase" box and click the Search button.
Actual Results:
When the definition is displayed, Firefox crashes before there is time to even focus on the words on the screen.
Expected Results:
That I can read the information about the word.
Default theme being used. I discovered the problem originally in FF 3.5.7 and upgraded to FF 3.6. The problem followed.

I don't have that Codec pack installed. Could it be part of another program?

Does the file C:\Windows\system32\P1131Vfw.dll exist on your system? If yes does removing it from the system %PATH% stop the crashing?

I renamed the file and the crash does not happen. I think that solves the problem. What the file does on my PC remains to be seen, but apparently not much. Thanks.
