Build Id: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux armv7l; Nokia N900; en-US; rv:1.9.2pre) Gecko/20100124 Namoroka/3.6pre Fennec/1.0pre Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to www.newgrounds.com/toon/ 2. Pan down to the area shown in this screen shot: http://www.flickr.com/photos/42893104@N04/4303436749/ 3. Wait for the ads to start running Actual Results: Instead of the right flash ad animating, it blinks in relation to the animated flash ad on the left side of the page Expected Results: The Flash ads should animate and not blink.
this is bizarre. It isn't blinking exactly, but instead there are a few frames that are white.
Is this related to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=541907 then (btw, I'm currently looking for a regression range)?
I am not sure.
Flash will blink anytime another element on the page needs to be painted, mainly because of animated graphics or animated HTML elements.
Same issue reproduced on Mobile Firefox 1.0 on N900 with the Youtube enabler add-on installed, Playing embedded Youtube video on a page with an animated Gif next to it. Looks like the youtube video flashes white when the gif is animated. Gecko/20100126 Firefox/3.6.1 Fennec/1.0.0
Something similar can be seen on http://www.meble.vox.pl/kolekcje-mebli/--modern--/pw/szafa-3-drzwiowa,214/ after tapping on blinking 'play' icon(video will appear with a flashing white square on top of it, exactly where the animated gif has been tapped). Gecko/20100317 Namoroka/3.6.3pre Fennec/1.1a2pre

This code has changed dramatically, especially with layers. We should see no blinking flash anymore. We have other bugs opened for flash (and plugins) operating in layers. Closing thise bug. Reopen if the same problem still exists
