Ok, so I do realise that this is just the opposite of #524221, but since I doubt I'm the only one who's unhappy with the way that was resolved, I thought I'd post the counter-bug.

So yeah, I didn't mind Weave's previous behaviour of asking for the master password at startup at all. But the new behaviour is extremely annoying, because I'll invariably forget about logging in and only remember it halfway through the day. For those of us that restart our browser fairly regularly, this is almost as good as only being able to sync manually.

Not sure though what the solution would be that would please both sides. An info bar? I'm not a UI expert in any case.

Trying to find compromises in UI usually leads to UI that isn't good for anyone, so I'm going to just WONTFIX this, and anyone who wants to always be prompted can use the extension.
