Details

scenario: I have a certificate installed on an ActivCard smartcard. The
certificate is used to auth me into a website. Accessing that website takes
about half the time to initially load and takes about half the time to fully
load when using 4.75 versus N6.

I'm using the daily build of N6 2000092608 and RTM Communicator 4.75. ActivCard
software is ActivCard Gold 1.21.

Having the same problem. THe performance is so bad, I can't use it for e-banking.
You can compare the performance for example on the e-banking site at:

https://banking.migrosbank.ch/demo.html

I have no idea why it's so slow and whether it's caused by the banks software or
PSM or another part of mozilla. I'm using Build 2001012108.
I don't use PSM with Netscape 4.76.
Is this still a problem?

Target -> 2.0
Target Milestone: --- → 2.0
It seems to have got better since the landing of PSM 2.0. But on the site
mentioned above I measured a loading time of 20 seconds versus 7 seconds in
NS4.76 which still isn't really good.
shadow: is this a client-auth problem or a server-auth problem?
