I've had numerous crashes while viewing http://www.detnews.com/section/sports.
I've also had issues where I mouse over the Bookmarks and all I get is the outline of the dropdown box (no content - just a transparent box).
Reproducible: Always

please visit http://www.mozilla.com/plugincheck/ and ensure that all recognized plug-ins are updated to the latest version. Could be you have an old Flash version.
Also try in Safe mode (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode) these kind of issues can be caused by not compatible add-ons, you can then disable all add-ons and re-enable them one-by-one finding the culprit.

Also since you crashed, go to about:crashes page, copy and paste here the links to the latest crashes you have there.

Marco
- I uninstalled all previous versions of Java and installed the latest. Firefox did an update of it as well.
- I originally said Firefox was crashing. I used the wrong term. It is hanging. I just had it happen again with http://www.detnews.com/section/sports0104.
- I've been using Firefox for about 5 years and have never had issues like this.
BTW - Windows XP Home SP3 Current on all updates.

We still need a crash stack to tell what is crashing, please check comment 2.
Also, you did not tell me if you were able to crash in Safe Mode.
Which version of Adobe Flash are you using? i doubt Java is involved here.

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

You can also try to reproduce in Firefox 4 Beta 8 or later, there are many improvements in the new version, http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
