'Illegal operation performed' dialog pops up while viewing page with ipix plugin

Plugin: iPIX Plugin v6.2
windows NT

Steps:
1 Install the ipix plugin from www.ipix.com
2 Go to the url above
3 Click on the image titled 'guestroom'
4 Observe that a window opens up and just before the plugin loads, a dialog 
  saying "The plugin performed an illegal operation. You are strongly advices to  
  restart navigator" appears.
5 Clicking OK on the dialog dismisses it and loads the plugin fine.
