For a long time (I assume since SeaMonkey moved from 1.x to 2.x !?),
I find many bugs filed (through the guided page) with 'unspecified' version.
I am assuming Bugzilla does not recognize SM 2.x.
2.0* should be 'SeaMonkey 2.0 Branch',
2.1* should be 'Trunk'.
While there, just check SM 1.0 and 1.1 too...
so, from memory we don't do any sniffing for this, the only thing bugzilla does is cookie the version you pick per product.

Yeah we do not do any sniffing. It either finds a cookie stored in the client and uses the last submitted version for the product, or it picks the highest number. In this case unspecified.
