When i create a site using iweb i use shadow on object etc. Fire fox displays the shadow as a box even if the image it is shadowing is a circle or any shape. shadowing is always a horizontal box even if the image is a box at an angle. This does not happen oon safari and others
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.create a shadow in iWeb
2.publish page
3.see the shadow does not corrolate
Actual Results:
if the image is a circle the shadow remains a square, if the image is at an angle the shadow remains square and horizontal
Expected Results:
shadow should follow the image out line not a square frame that does not exist.
I love firefox, and so do so many people. But it is effecting my site and makes it look rubbish and like i dont know what i am doing.

To make any progress here you should attach a minimized test case.
Component: Build Config → General
QA Contact: build.config → general
Sorry i dont know how to do that. Would you like me to send a screen shot?
I am currently uploading what i am wanting as a Home page. I clicked preview and thats when I saw the shadowing and thought something needs to be done. In about 5 min the new home page will be up with some text boxes at a 45 degree angle but the shadow will be horizontal
oh and a Canadian flag in a circle that has a square shadow
There is also a ribbon top left, which is the main logo. the shadw was to follow the points of the object where as they only are in two shadow boxes
here is a side by side of firefox and safari

Are you using an older version of iWeb (judging from the screenshot) ? If so, this is a duplicate of bug 405903 (which also shows a workaround).
no that post doesnt mention anything to do with what i have brought up. The bug from 2007 was about photo themselves not showing. My bug report is that shadowing on any shape stays square. I am using the latest iWeb 09 also known as 3.0.1 (thought they might have released a new one yesterday but it was just the iPad.)
Here is a screen shot using Chrome, Opera, Firefox and Safari. As you can see Chrome has worked out that shadow is to follow the shape. Opera does not show shadow which is a shame but it looks better than shadow in the wrong place as shown in firefox. I am not disrespecting Firefox as its my no.1 choice but i cant promote it if it makes my webiste look rubbish ( i know it looks rubbish anyway but i am no webmaster, thus i use iWeb)
