User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6

I have icons on the menu bar (see the given URL for an example), but now that I hide the menu bar (and use 'Alt' to access the buttons) they no longer work.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place an icon on the menu bar (in a similar position to that seen in the given URL)
2. Right-click and hide the menu bar
3. Hit 'Alt' to show the menu bar temporarily
4. Select one of the icons
Actual Results:
When the buttons are clicked, they depress, but when the mouse button is released the button goes back to its normal (non-pressed) state, does not do what it should do (i.e. it does nothing) and the menu bar then auto-hides.

Expected Results:
The buttons actions should be performed (i.e. show the web developer toolbar etc.) and then auto-hides the menu bar.

- Drop down options seems to work (i.e. download helper drop down, but not the main button)
- The only time that this did not happen is when another bug (seen in other reports) stops it from auto-hiding...so when I clicked the button it did the desired action, but did not hide the menu bar after. Firefox had to be restarted several times before the menu started auto-hiding again.
- This did not use to happen when I was using the "Hide Menu Bar" extension...it is now uninstalled because its functionality is native in Firefox.
