I had used personas before, but uninstalled it. Thus, I probably had stale config entries from the last install. After upgrading to Fx 3.6, I installed personas plus.

I then played around with personas, installing some from the "fox icon", some from the website, and I also enabled the old custom persona. I restarted via File->Exit and starting Fx again.

The Add-ons dialog stopped working. It showed no extensions, the buttons showed no reactions, and there were more buttons than usual on the bottom of the dialog.

I then closed firefox, nuked the Personas Plus extension by deleting its directory, started Firefox, went to about:config, deleted extensions.personas.* and lightweightThemes.usedThemes and restarted. The dialog was working again.

Reproducing the error again was not possible without the stale config entries. A backup of the broken profile exists, see below for prefs entries.

A lot of other extensions are installed (adblock plus, noscript, tabmixplus, google toolbar, mousegestures redox 3, lots of others)

I've seen a bunch of reports are issues being reported on IRC and mozillazine forums about the add-ons windows for extensions, themes and plugins being blank and all of this was caused by personas.
