FIRST PROBLEM - WHEN FIREFOX SHUTDOWN WITH X - NEXT TIME FIREFOX STARTED ERROR FIREFOX ALREADY RUNNING WILL NOT RESTART. UNISTAL AND INSTAL LATEST VERSION OF FIREFOX NOW FIREFOX WILL NOT START. CLICK FIREFOX ICON BUSY COMES UP FOR FEW SECONDS THEN NO MORE ACTIONS DOES NOT HANG UP.

I HAVE CREATED A REPORT USING WINDBG BUT DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO ENTER RESULT FILE AT ?

Sounds like an addon is causing this. Try safe mode. http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
BTW, typing in ALL CAPS is usually considered rude.

Thank you sorry about the caps yes I did try safemode - same problem occured. I am using xp 64 bit.

I have now installed the 64 bit version of firefox ( minefield ) ver 3 and working Ok

What x64 version? There is no official 64 bit build for windows that is provided by mozilla.
