When searching for add-on for Firefox, I get results for the version of Firefox I use (3.6). But when I switch the target application (using horizontal menu just above the search results) to Thunderbird, I get no results, even when I'm sure that add-on is compatible with Thunderbird. It seems that switching between apps changes the appid parameter of search but does not change the lver parameter which contains the version.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ and search for "personas"
2. On the results page, choose "Thunderbird" from the horizontal menu just above the results
Actual Results:  
Search returns no results

Expected Results:  
Search should return Personas and other add-ons matching the keyword

I can't reproduce this; when I search for "Personas" and then switch the application to "Thunderbird" from within the Advanced Search UI, I end up with this URL:

You're right, everything is OK when you use the Advanced Search UI. But the problem exists when you choose an application from the horizontal list above the search results (Firefox, Thunderbird, Mobile, SeaMonkey, Sunbird, Sort By).

The horizontal tab is gone as of bug 554433.
