I think if this addon will be installed by default in Firefox will be great,as many people don't know to access the hidden features via about:config ,the addon Configuration Mania ( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4420 ) will be great for people to change the options in firefox,i think you should think at this,as many people don't know to access about:config , or change the options there as they are not explained very good,in Configuration Mania you can read better and know what you are chaning.

Do you realize that one of the original goals of Firefox (compared to to then all-in-one Mozilla browser), was to *remove* all the preferences that most people would never use ? Especially the one where a user could cause more problems than it could solve (this is the reason why the "pipelining" prefs are not visible in the UI, for instance).

The original preference dialog box was much simpler than the one in Mozilla, although the current Firefox preference dialog is expanding again. IMHO, we need *less* configuration options, not more.

Yes i know that,but why not make it for advanced users so they can activate this menu,many people will love that and not use all addons with bugs and i don't know , slow start,hangs,etc

I just tried this extension; it is a kind of explanation of about:config options. So while reading through these options you can see that you're explicitly allowing blinking text and link prefetching, something that you can change and would have changed if you knew.
Of course you can also scroll through about:config and do guesses about the meanings of the prefs (often not what you think) which could cause troubles if you try and forget.
