I do in Firefox. Firefox behavior preferred. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a message to read 2. Hit x in upper right corner to close (message window) 3. Oops Actual Results: TBird closes Confirm dialogue to prevent closing TBird when I wanted to close a tab.

Note that Thunderbird will automatically restore all tabs when it reopens; this is not a dataloss bug, therefore, but merely an annoyance that Thunderbird does not have an option to offer the choice of staying open when multiple tabs would be closed. A possible workaround is to set Thunderbird to open messages in a new window, as was the behavior in previous versions.
