Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Firefox refuses to run.  Sends me dialog that system is still running and I need to shut it down before I can restart browsing.
2.reboot system.
3.open bowser.
Actual Results:  
it works but it's frustrating.

Expected Results:  
fix your problem.

If you open the task manager, is firefox.exe running as a process? If so, this is most likely caused by an extension. Do you have ghostery installed? Can you please test in safe mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode

Check if more than one version of Firefox is installed. Uninstall any old versions that you do not use. If you want to retain more than one version you will have to use Task Manager to end "firefox.exe" under Processes.
This appears to be a problem with Firefox quitting (and likely is due to an extension), not a session restore problem.
