543508 - IMAP:mail with attachment sent but not saved in sent(server) and also mail not possibly to save as draft

IMAP:
If i start to compose a new mail with attachments (no matter of size) it does not save them in the sent folder when they are sent or in the draft folder when Thunderbird wants to save it automatical.
Error message: "Nachricht konnte nicht in den Ordner "Gesendet" kopiert werden. Nochmals versuchen?"
In English should be: "Message could not be copied in the folder "sent". Try again?"

I know that the problem isn't a new problem but with my account nothing helps.
Not changing of folders nor the other tipps.
And if the problem has happend even emails without attachments can not be saved in draft folder.(only if i restart thunderbird it works for emails without attachments)

Another funny thing is that Thunderbird tells me this: Nachricht konnte nicht in den Ordner "Gesendet" kopiert werden. Nochmals versuchen? In English should be: "Message could not be copied in the folder "sent". Try again?"
when I try to save the mail as a draft instead of saying:
"Message could not be copied in the folder "draft". Try again?"


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Compose a new mail with attachment
2 [review].sent it or let it be saved automatically
3.won't work


Expected Results:  
save a copy in sent folder

tested in safe-mode and normal mode

Can you attach a protocol log (https://wiki.mozilla.org/MailNews:Logging)? I'd guess your IMAP server is for some reason refusing to save messages with attachments.

Also, check your account settings, especially under Server Settings, and let us know what they are. You may want to poke around under Advanced… on that page to see if there's any setting that affects it there.

Hey,

thanks for the quick respond.
Now that I created a new account for my same imap accounted and tested unsafe connection to smtp server it worked for that.
But then a really crazy thing happend:
I then deleted this account and used my old with the settings it had before( i only changed that Thunderbird junk is saved in a local folder and now it even works on this account.
It only happens a few times now.
I made a log(117mb so only normal readable parts attached) of it but this time it was a real big email(ca.15MB)
it is not reproducible with small mails anymore.

I'm sorry that I can't tell you why it's working now with small mails.
Settings under advanced are standard.

Hmm, odd. The problem with large attachments sounds like http://kb.mozillazine.org/Can_not_send_large_attachments so you might check that out; other than that, it sounds like it's working for you (perhaps a glitch on your mail server's side?). Resolving WFM for now; feel free to re-open if this reoccurs.

well its not the problem of sending only saving the copy in sent.
and no its not a glitch.
for now i let it be until it repeats itself often again.
i asked the provider and they said they know about the problem but only with thunderbird but they have no solution for it.
