Summary: you are difficult to communicate with...do you really want to know the problems? → Firefox process still running after closing the browser, unable to reopen it
Your situation is explained in <http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Firefox+is+already+running+but+is+not+responding> and <http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Firefox+hangs#Hang_at_exit>. Do you use ghostery by any chance? Or even just have it installed?
tyler, do you know any details on the ghostery issue? I have this same problem, and I have ghostery installed.
David, Bug 538160 is the issue, bug 543732 is on soft-blocking the extension until resolved.
