Details

The changes to the linux vm are a little more invasive than I had originally thought.  I would like to have a temorary vm to work on.  I also don't want to have our single linux slave booked up solid while I work on this.  Please use the standard linux 32-bit build vm image.
Should this VM be hosted in MV or can this go on the regular build ESX cluster since the network is in place for it now?

sorry about the delay.  i'm on-call this week and i have been dealing with other issues.  i'm building the vm now.
