Firefox allows images to be saved by dragging them from the browser to the desktop. The source window also displays images when following links in the source, but these images cannot be saved. The context menu is not present when clicking on them, dragging them to the desktop results in a useless file.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open "View source window" of any page (like this one) containing embedded images.
2. Click on the link of an image inside the source.
3. After the image is finished loading, drag it to the desktop.
Actual Results:
A file is created on the desktop named "view-source-https-//bugzilla.mozilla.org/skins/custom/images/bugzilla.png.inetloc" which cannot be opened by any application.

Expected Results:
The image file is copied to the desktop like it would when accessing it from the main browser window.

Right clicking on the image from the source window does not show the image context menu.

Tried on both Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6 with the same results. Other operating systems should also be tested.
These repro steps are accurate that dragging and the context menu do not and have not offered a way to save. Command-S (or the appropriate File menu item) however has always worked as expected, and continues to work in FF 11.0, even though drag-and-drop functionality has actually regressed.
Severity: minor → S4
