Even If I change it. It still makes the Default Folder. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Firefox 2.Close it 3.Check to see if Downloads folder was created. Expected Results: Doesn't create the folder when its not the default.
So, firefox is still downloading files to that folder even when you select something else? The pref is not being saved? try http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Preferences+are+not+saved?s=preferences%20not%20saved
No it will download the file to the correct folder. But it will still create the Downloads folder by default. Example D:\Download is my new folder i create. Every time I open firefox then close it. It Creates D:\Downloads (which is the default name folder) D:\ is also my My Documents location
I should also note. This started happening when I went from Firefox 3.5.7 to Firefox 3.6.
